NOTARY TRANSACTIONS

A notary executes transactions which either require, or which the parties wish to be notarized.

The notary operates as a person of public trust, and notarised deeds are legally binding documents.

Notary transactions are executed in the Polish language and, upon a request from a party, the notary may also execute the transaction in a foreign language using the assistance of an officially certificated translator.

The notary is obliged to refuse to execute a transaction which is contrary to the law.

The following are included in the scope of the services we provide:

All of our transactions are usually preceded by a free-of-charge exchange of information between us and the client in order to individually agree its form with the notary, agree a list of the required documents and establish the related costs.

Transactions may be executed away from our offices if required by their nature or special circumstances.

The fee for notary transactions is set in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Justice of 28 June 2004 on the Maximum Notary Fee Rates. Apart from the notary fee, the costs also include court fees and taxes (including the tax on transactions under civil law, tax on inheritances and donations, tax on goods and services, VAT) which the notary is obliged to collect and pay to the accounts of the competent Court and Tax Office.
